Red Dust Storm..

Yesterday sydney had some dust storm that turned the whole city red..

I woke up at five in the morning yesterday and looked outside my window. It was VERY red. I asked my mum what it was and she said it's probably just sunrise..

obviously not!

Then at around 6:20 my friend texted me about how orange the sky was...and I looked out again and it was orange, not red anymore.

I woke up after twenty minutes of texting and my mum said the orange-ness was caused by..DUST && sand.

my first reaction was "WTF".

and then i went to turn on the tv and there was a dust warning in sydney. Some professional guy on he tv suggested that peopel should stay indoor as much as posisble. So i took my day off and didn't go to school. :)

i didn't miss much anyway. well. besides some atomic theory thing about naming chemicals in science..

I went and googled some images on the red dust storm from yesterday and they were so pretty. even though the sand kinda choked me yesterday morning...

oh well! that was an awesome experience. it's something that people might not have experienced during their whole life. aren't i lucky.
